Movies stutter on Google TV streamer

Hello,

I'm having the same stuttering issue, with some of tv series.

Device running Emby: Google Chromecast with Google TV (4K).

The stuttering only happens when using Emby for android app. (Version: 3.5.36). Same issue with previous version.

There is no stuttering if I run the same tv series on Emby for Android TV app (Version: 2.1.23g).

 

There are a few ways to make tv series run smootly on Emby for android:

- Convert the media to TV format

- Run playback correction twice

- Dropping quality to anything equal or below 4 Mbps

 

However, you need to do this every time you start/resume the episode (except conversion) and/or it also lowers video quality.
