Just installed Emby on my media server to trial it. Currently I use Plex but also have Jellyfin installed too.

Installation appeared to go ok and it found libraries OK. The problem is that I can't get ANY local clients to work!
First tried Firestick. Initially, it gave the "This server needs to be updated" error - which wasn't true. After a reboot, it then showed the server - 'media1'.
No users were listed but 'Manual login' was available. Trying to login with either of the users that I have setup on the server gives a "Username or password" error which, again, is not true.

Next tried the app on a Roku stick - EXACTLY the same problems as above.

Next tried the windows client on my main PC. This shows the server but we are back to the "This server needs to be updated" error - see attached screenshot.

I presume I'm doing something stupid - but what?? (Even Jellyfin wasn't this much hassle!!)

Thanks

Is your JF instance running? As it'd be using same default http port, 8096.
