Video "Overview" does not populate from file metadata

I'm currently working on my project EmbyDesk at https://github.com/SideFx/EmbyDesk and am experiencing the same problem. The field Overview in BaseItemDto is empty even if there's an overview maintained in the metadata. Pls have a look at attached screenshots.
I wonder if this really is the default Emby behavior?

I'm sorry. I forgot to include the field "Overview" in the field list for the "Fields=" parameter just for this very collection type.

Before posting here I asked MS Copilot if returning an empty value for this particular field would be a known issue and got a positive answer.
This lead me even more astray.

Everything is shiny now
