Podcast Customization - Default podcast thumbnail

I have searched the forum and this does not seem to be requested.

I would like to have the ability to customize the thumbnails for the podcasts. In the "latest" section, if the podcast does not provide a picture, i get only the default podcast image and the title and sometimes it is not easy to distinguish which podcast it is.

Also, the sort by release date mention on other requests would be welcomed.

First, a correction on my request. As i checked, by editing the podcast and setting the "thumb" image (not the primary) i accomplished what i was requestiing. It seems to be working,  I overlooked this, so my apologies.

Regarding where to set "sort by" in podcasts, i am good to set it in the overall collection podcasts as this is a setting that i will set once for all podcast subscritptions and never look back. On movies, series, music, etc. i am not really in need to have a "default" value set .
