Library Randomly Deleted

Anyone have issues with libraries randomly being deleted and requiring a rescan? I am constantly having to rescan as library metadata is somehow being deleted. The library paths are set correctly and still valid meaning there’s no configuration change but the metadata is completely missing and all the files have to be rescanned. I have a large library and this is more than an inconvenience.
