dyecast 8 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I’ve seen this on multiple Rokus with multiple users. No matter what I set in the webUI from my phone or PC, in Roku it will default to the Suggestions section within each library every time 2
Solution speechles 2086 Posted May 17 Solution Posted May 17 (edited) The web app doesn't show all the same section headers that the Roku app does. Because of this the Roku expects you to set the default inside the Roku app. Press * or navigate to the cog/gear at the top of the screen. It will take you to the Settings menu. There will be an option for Application Settings. Then under that an option to "Set Default Tab". The tabs differ the Roku offers. What we could do is have the top option "Use Server setting". Then below list all the ones you can set different for just the Roku app. The idea was perhaps the Roku you want different than the web app. The Roku offers more landing tabs than the web app. This is why it differed. But we could do like I mention and that would solve this issue. I can add this to our issue tracker. Luke 42556 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 HI, we are working on unifying these, but for now you will need to configure it separately in the Roku app. Thanks.
pwhodges 2066 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 The reason this has come up is that an update to the Roku client recently discarded the user's settings in this regard, reverting to Suggestions when it had previously been set to something else. Paul

Paul Can anyone else confirm this? Not sure how that could have happened.
visproduction 361 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Clearing Cache in Roku might also be helpful. I think Emby's setting should be enough. https://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Cache-on-Roku Quote To clear your Roku's cache, select the "Home" menu, then press these keys on your remote: Home (5 times), Up (once), Rewind (2 times), and Fast Forward (2 times).
