alex77777 45 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 When navigating to the "Up Next" section while watching a show, if you press play on an episode that isn't the next in queue it will play the next episode of which ever one you are currently watching regardless of which episode you pressed on. For example, I'm currently watching S21E235 I navigate down to the Up Next section and press on S21E238 Playback starts for S21E236 even though I didn't press on that episode. This happens every time so it can be reproduced easily Thanks
alex77777 45 Posted May 19 Author Posted May 19 @LukeAnother issue I've noticed that also maybe related to this is if I use the Play on Another Device feature to play for example S01E01 of a show on the Apple TV, it will play the episode fine, but if i were to press play on another episode or any piece of content such as a movie or completely different show while the initial episode is still playing, it will just go to the next episode of the show rather than playing what I pressed on. This happens every time, it can be reproduced easily as well.

Seems the only way to fix this is to increase the intro video time to 400ms to completely prevent it from happening. With this change it makes tuning in to channels very clunky. I'm using Playlist Playback, is there a way to fix this issue? Ideally I would want the intro video to be 0 since it tunes into the channel almost instantly then. Not sure if you have much control over this but any help would be appreciated. If the Dev's fix this, the Playlist Playback delay should be able to be set to 0 and work fine with Apple TV. @SamESNot sure if this is your department but if it is your help would be appreciated. The Play on Another Device feature is what the Virtual TV plugin utilizes for Playlist Playback but when remote playback delay is set to 0 it causes the UI on the Apple TV to get stuck in front of the video so you cant see it, you only hear the audio. I wanted to mention this if you guys are investigating Play on Another Device issues with the Apple TV. The posts I quoted are from previous posts in the Virtual TV Plugin forum I made but I later realized it seems to be a bug with the Play on Another Device Feature rather than the Plugin itself. If you need me to describe it in more detail let me know Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it
alex77777 45 Posted May 21 Author Posted May 21 @LukeJust wanted to make sure you seen my post above about the Play on Another Devices feature and how it relates to issues experienced with the Virtual TV plugin on Apple TV.
alex77777 45 Posted May 23 Author Posted May 23 Also wanted to add, the images displayed in the Up Next section on the Apple TV for movies is the Primary image of the movie, not the thumbnail image like it should be. This is also the case for the On Now section but for TV shows and Movies.
