knet2020 3 Posted May 15 Posted May 15 I'm not sure when this started, and it's a bit unusual. I use the local web app and a few tablets/phones to access my instance. For the past few hours, the Premiere key has not been recognised, but so far as I can see, only on the web app. The key is correct, and it does seem to recognise it, but despite restarting my machine and Emby, the issue persists. I'm happy to provide logs or additional information if needed.

What are you actually experiencing that leads you to think this? Premiere keys are applied to the server, not the clients (there's literally nowhere else to put it besides the server...). As long as the server has a premier key, all clients connected to it should work identically. Note both the client AND the server must be able to reach mb3admin.com to verify the validity of your premier license and whether you're exceeding your device limit. (25 active devices using premier features)
knet2020 3 Posted May 15 Author Posted May 15 Yeah, on relection maybe I didn't explain this very well. It's the server that's presenting with the issue. I have restarted my machine & browser a number of times to no avail. Hope that's a little clearer.
Neminem 1734 Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Logs would show what's going on. Are you using VPN? Adblocker? Pihole?

I have allowed mb3admin in my router VPN, as a 'whitelist' option, so it should see my 'real' IP address. Here are the attached logs as requested. I'm sorry, but I don't even know where to look. I have restarted Emby on several ocassions and the issue persists as I said. I have never had any problems before and am pretty sure I am under the 25 device limit. embyserver.txt
ebr 16430 Posted May 15 Posted May 15 There is no validation attempt in that log file. When you get that spinning circle, look in the browser console. Something is probably blocking the device validation.

Yeah, there is an entry of a connection to validate https://mb3admin.com/admin/service/registration/validateDevice? with the result of 'ERR Blocked by Client', which is not something I am familiar with at all. I have made no changes to my setup, which is/was working fine. I have disabled my proxy / vpn and whitelisted the root mb3admin.com. Quote Doh, I had noscript running, and mb3admin had no permissions. I enabled the 'trusted' flag and re-tried, and it worked 1st time. Always check extensions first, I have heard and seen, it's good advice. Marked as a solution Edited May 15 by knet2020 Marked as a solution 1
