Just tried to play several things, and every single time I got an “error processing that request, please try later” message.

Was working fine on my Shield less than an hour ago. Works fine on the web. Seems to only affect the Windows app, whatever it is.

@crusher11that happened to me a while back, try rebooting your server and client pc, could be a temp IP issue.

Rebooted the server, closed and reopened the Windows app, no change. In  the middle of too many things to reboot the PC.

The other thing I had happen was a windows update, after that the release app stopped working completely so I had to stick to the beta app.

Not sure what happened first.

I don't remember. A couple of different SummerSlams, an episode of Last Week Tonight, maybe other things? I was basically just clicking the Play button on anything on-screen.

The beta has a couple of minor bugs left but will be released very soon so hang on.

I've been saying this exact thing for so long as well. I'm actually surprised more people haven't pointed this out because it is so goddamn annoying to keep getting these vague, uninterested and generic responses from Luke. Too many people are treating this like a Jellyfin forum, thinking that the devs at Emby are "doing us a favor" by providing this service. When in fact the opposite of this is true. Simply put, this is still a business at the end of the day. We paid for a product and expect said product to work, or at least have these problems resolved when they are reported. If not for lack of options I am certain that most of us would abandon Emby in a heartbeat, myself included. These people get away with treating their customers like crap only because of lack of competition, but all things come to an end one day.

I went with Emby for my media server because it was open source, the devs were really responsive, and there were lots of good community plugin developers.

None of that is true anymore.

My server has been completely inaccessible via the Windows app for probably a couple of weeks now at least. Is anything being done about this?
