Emby for iOS 2.2.52 no video via HDMI output

Hi there,
A friend is reporting a very recent issue with the emby app: She can't see the video when connected via hdmi to her video projector or tv. Sound works fine, and she can see emby's interface when clicking on the touch screen.

She's using Emby for iOS 2.2.52 on an iPad air 4th gen.

No transcoding on the server. (Big) log attached, user is host3.
Let me know if a cleaner log could be useful, I can restart the server and ask her to try and read a video again.

I did a server hardware upgrade at the beginning of the week, but did not change any setting in emby. I'd guess the issue comes from the emby 2.2.52 client update.

Thanks

Update: video works correctly when using the web app with safari on the same device. (Server has to remux the file, though)

Hi Luke, yeah, I should probably have mentioned that... It does play without an issue when not connected via hdmi

Thanks for the update and the fix!
To be clear, it is not fixed in 2.2.53, correct? According to the app store it was released during our messages exchange here.

I cannot test myself, but my friend reports the same issue on 2.2.53.

+1 also having this issue.

Is there an ETA on the next update for the iOS app?

Hi, shouldn't be too long.

It’s been a couple of weeks since the last post. Is there an eta on the fix?
