Question regarding "PlayCount" and "Mark to Played" on Show Episodes

Is it correct that the UserData PlayCount is not increased when manually marking a Show Episode to "Played"? 

So its normal to see something like this :

        "PlaybackPositionTicks": 0,
        "PlayCount": 0,
        "IsFavorite": false,
        "LastPlayedDate": "2023-10-01T13:09:25.0000000Z",
        "Played": true
      },
