BMNBMN 6 Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Hi, I updated to 2.3.5 today, and after a few minutes, it starts buffering every few seconds. It plays for about 10 seconds and then buffers again. Restarting the TV fixes the problem for a few minutes. It doesn't matter if its h265 or AV1, 25 Mbps or 3 Mbp, same problem. No transcoding. Other platforms work perfectly fine. Solution SamES 1102 Posted April 30 Solution Posted April 30 I don't think this will be an app problem, especially if it is DirectPlay. More likely networking. Try rebooting your server and network equipment, and try hard rest (disconnect power) from the TV. Is the server local or remote?
BMNBMN 6 Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 Local. You are right. I set up Jellyfin with the same media and I had the same problem. It seems like after two years, the TV has decided to prefer 2.4 GHz even though it seems it has trouble with it. No other networks around. I try forcing it to use 5 GHz using Usteer now and it seems to be working. 1 1
