LoLoEmby 1 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I know this topic isold but I haveing the Same issue from my side as well. On Emby for Android last update 3.5.28. In addition, I noticed another issue while transcoding with mobile phones (IOS and Android) When set to Auto (with mobile data) or force transcoding, the subtitle are multiplar when you Fast forward / Go back / Orianted the screen and sometimes take a lot of time to display them. While playing in Direct play - No issue at all. I made some tested and found that enabling this 2 option under "Diagnostic Options" solved the multipal lines and the not showing the subtitle when jump forward. - Disable HLS Subtitles - Disable Subtitle Streams But those settings are not resolved the issue with the subtitle out of sync while trnscoding only audio.
Luke 42593 Posted April 24 Posted April 24 @LoLoEmby Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
LoLoEmby 1 Posted May 18 Author Posted May 18 Hi @Lukesorry for the late reply. Just for clarification. No CSS is enabled. Premiere is active. the issue is happening During playback on cellular and transcoding is happening for iPhone and iPad... 3 scenarios here... - WITHOUT "Disable HLS Subtitles" - Every time I skip forward the subtitles (SRT) is missing or showing multiple times. - WITH "Disable HLS Subtitles" - No issue at all. I see all the subtitles with no delay or multiply times. - Direct play - WITH or WITHOUT "Disable HLS Subtitles" - Work perfectly I collect logs for 2 first scenarios... in this command I will attach the logs from the playback WITHOUT "Disable HLS Subtitles" and the second one with the "Fix" embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-bee093b2-7de8-45a1-bc8d-4668eda357e6_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-d9c4f030-e8fc-41f3-aaeb-8eeafd20cc19_1.txt hardware_detection-63914670901.txt ffmpeg-transcode-4fd9ff19-93de-4061-aaa7-a97568893755_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-591642e9-5ee5-4b0b-a458-5b41af680383_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-54282562-8638-4cb0-90cd-0b8ff7ff5bc4_1.txt
