Is there any way to configure Emby to prefer tvg-id over exact channel name matching?

I'd like to enforce the use of a specific set of guide data in my M3U by specifying tvg-id. This mostly works, unless the channel name exactly matches the name of a channel in my XMLTV. In that case, Emby prefers the exact name matching. Can I change this behavior to prefer the use of tvg-id?

Hi, no, Emby prefers tvg-id first, before name. There is nothing you need to do to configure that.
