visproduction 360 Posted April 24 Posted April 24 There was a report that Ethernet 1GB cable plugged into older LG TV where the Ethernet TV port can only handle 10 /100, causing video stream to stall. Apparently, the delivery is too fast for the LG TV Ethernet port, so it only works for a 20 to 30 seconds. Everyone automtically thinks the speed should step down to work correctly, but it's been reported that it does not work well. Check the manual of the TV to see what Ethernet port speed is available and I assume you know if your incoming cable is set to do 1 GB speeds. Hope that helps.

Greets Ralf During playback of an item with issues, select the gear icon on the on-screen display, then turn on Stats for Nerds. Easiest to provide a screenshot of the details. Is the server and the TV in the same location, or are you connecting to someone else's server? Once we know this information, we can decide if we need to look further into logs.
