Lyfesaver 136 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Before the last major update, searching for subs used to not required nearly as much clicking as now. As I stay in Beta it has been a hot minute since my server behaved this way so I might be remembering some of it wrong, but here is what I mean: Before, when you went to search for subs, you navigated to the icon in overlay about the playback bar/line and when it opened the interaction was already on the "Search" button, so you just pressed Enter/OK/Select and it started the search. You then navigated down the results and pressed Enter/OK/Select and that was it. Now, the flow is: Navigate to icon in overlay Press "down" 3 times to get to the search button Navigate down the list and select the right one Press down again because you dont want to preview, just download the dang thing. Maybe, for those of us that have the subs settings already set up to have a toggle that says "Direct to download subs" or something that allows for quicker access. Heck, you can even improve upon the old way by removing even one more click than the old way. When you select "Search for subtitles" one the overlay CC icon, it just starts the search RIGHT THEN and when you select one, it downloads it RIGHT THEN. I don't know, maybe I am not making sense and/or making a mountain out of a molehill but it is a QoL tweak I would be interested in having.

I am having a hard time thinking of how I can say it better than I already did. I speak Spanish so I could rewrite in Español if that helps Seriously tho, I don't know how to say it any better than I have. What part is tripping you up?

Because, this navigation flow will be affected by how many subtitles are already included in the item. What you described as "before" sounds like an item that had zero sub tracks and your "after" was one with a couple already.
