Filmdatein umbenennen

Hallo

wenn ich einen Film mit eigenen Cover , Daten etc umbenenne werden dann die .nfo etc auch automatisch umbenannt oder

spielt das keine Rolle 

 

oder soll man den film in Emby selber umbenennen dann würde ja der original Datei Name erhalten bleiben

.nfo dateadded data controls the order of media when sorted by Date added

Previously the older date added of media with different resolutions also controlled which item shows at the top of the media page resolution list.

1080P
720P
480P

The top item used to need to have the oldest dateadded data in the .nfo.  I think that has been fixed and now the highest resolution automatically shows on top.  This only happens when all copies of the media have the same name, only with dash resolution - 1080P.

Star Wars (1977) - 1080P.mkv  (dateadded 1/1/2000) - Shows up on page as just 1080P
Star Wars (1977) - 720P.mkv    (dateadded 2/1/2002) - Shows up on page as just 720P

If 1080P had a newer dataadded date, it use to not show up at the top of the Media page pull down list. If the file name is not exactly the same before the dash, then both complete file names show up in the Media page pull down list.  I think there may also be a cached memory of the last resolution used to play back each media file.  I have not tested this.

wenn ich nun eine Datei umbenenen will (betrifft nur meine eigenen Filme)

 

der Film heisst z.b "Urlaub Spanien" dann gibt es ja das passendene Bild im Ordner sowie eine .info Date auch mit dem selben Namen

jetzt benenne ich den Film um in "Urlaub Spanien 1990 " dann wir die Bildatei sowie die .info ja nicht umbenannt 

ist das ein  Problem oder erkennt er das die 2 Daein trotz anderen Namen zum Hauptfilm gehören ?

bzw wie bennent man richtig um?

Ja hab ich,

der Film selber wird ja umbenannt aber solle die Info und Bildmaterial nicht auch umbenannt werden?

Also ich mach es üblicherweise so, dass ich alle Dateien, bis auf den Film, lösche und dann erst den Scan darüber laufen lasse. Mir ist es in der Vergangenheit nämlich passiert, dass ich nfo-Files usw. doppelt im Verzeichnis des jeweiligen Films hatte. Einmal neu und einmal alt. Da ich hier keine Sammelverarbeitung am laufen habe ist das handhabbar.

bei Filmen würde ich das auch so machen

es geht ja hier um meine eigenen Filme die ich mit eigenen Daten und Bilder hinterlegt habe

I would rename the file and the folder to be the same with title and year Star Wars (1977), to match whatever name appears on imdb.com.  That usually works.  If you want to then change the name to German, just use the file name input in admin media editor and leave the file name and folder name alone.

Hi, if you rename files in your file explorer, then you will need to handle the images and metadata (if you wish to keep those).

There is no rename file in Emby Server. If you edit the title in the metadata editor, that simply edits the display title for that item.
