ab123ga 20 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I've at times had a series setting get lost. But today after a server reboot, my entire series listings are there but they see no guide information and thus nothing is scheduled. The worst part is I can enter a series and if at least it allowed me to cancel the series, stay there and set it back up, as sucky as that is, doable. I have to cancel the series and its gone, thus I now have to go back and find the show either through the guide or search and reset them up 1 by 1. I tried doing a server restore. No luck. Example below. Shows part of series. One screenshot of first take on espn with no shows listed. However as my guide shows, first take is in the guide but does not show it is to be recorded. embyserver-63911970377.txt embyserver (5).txt
Luke 42412 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Hi, what guide data are you using? What you could try to do instead of recreating the series is just refresh the guide data in the server.
ab123ga 20 Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 (edited) I'm using Emby epg guide data all from the U/S. I have several. I re-did about 20 of them last night and those scheduled series fill in but many to do. However, sometime overnight the rest filled in. Maybe the fill in occurred during the next Guide refresh which occurred at 2AM ET. The point being for some reason after a reboot, the entire "Scheduled" was gone because the series list saw no programming. If that's to be expected during a reboot then maybe I need to do a guide refresh on emby start. I specifically don't do that b/c I've had issues /w guide refresh with my VPN on and I turn the VPN off at 2 am ET to ensure a clean refresh at least once per day. I have guide refreshes also at 10amET and 6PM ET but if they don't work b/c the VPN is on, I don't care since the 2 an ET one will run perfectly. So I'm back but again maybe the question is should a guide refresh occur on emby start to ensure the series information fills in. I've never seen it not be there on reboot but it just so happened that scheduled list was gone on reboot last night. Edited April 17 by ab123ga
