Resume playing link on Google tv home screen

All the shows I'm watching on apps like Netflix HBO and peacock appear on the homepage of my Google TV with a continue watching or watch next episode link. MB shows never appear there they're only on the MB home screen. Is there any way to get them to appear on the Google screen like the other apps do?

Hi.  There is on some older versions of Google TV.  I believe the Shield still supports this.  You would go to the bottom of the home page and, if there is a "customize home" button there, you can click it and choose the Emby content.

If there is no such button, then you have a version of GTV that no longer supports this from apps other than Google's partners.

I do have an option to choose which apps send suggestions, but Emby is not available on that list. Streamers like HBO and Netflix are there.

Any chance Emby might be integrated into that system in the future?

This is correct, though the universal app is still sending poster.jpg instead of landscape.jpg despite all the other apps having landscape-orientation images.

That is only open to their partners.
