Andorid app does not show at all text entered in General - Home Screen Banner text.

Android TV app shows it normally.

When you're asked which version, the expectation is that you will be specific - what you think is "latest" may not always be.

Yes sorry my bad, it was .28

I m going mad with amazon store, several of my family switched to unified android app, but store is installing different versions all the time, even 2 months old versions ???

Some got .31, some .32 , big majority got .28...which does not have new home screen changes.

So frustrating.... Even on google store you get "random" versions.....and no update avaliable to go to latest.

Perhaps device specific?  We just submitted a new version to Amazon today so a new one should be available in the next few days.

Mostly same devices, Amazon firestick, Xiaomi Tv box gen3 and Sony andorid TV.
Just switched my SonyTv to android version, and store is offering only .28 version, while for other android i see ..31. Amazon also....different version and rarely latest.

There are about 10 different versions of that...

But, we target everything with our apps so I'm not really sure why you are seeing different versions.

Emby for android unified app, on Amazon its called only "Emby".

Well i dont know whats happening but on google playstore .28 is the latest version i could install, while on Amazon is lottery.

@ebr Why on google store is Emby android 3 months old version ?  3.5.28 -01/21/2026

I cant enable new features on home screen since google store is only pushing 3.5.28  version.

You can enable to download beta instead if you want.
That will give you a more updated version.

That is not the question i asked  I cant add people to beta channel and i dont want. question is why google store is pushing 3 month old version while amazon has the newest one.

i understand approvals and everything on both stores, but we have 3 months gap between stores.

I'm not sure in this case but those home screen features are only in the beta server so it isn't unusual for them to also only be in the beta app.

I should have clarified a little better.  
My version from the store is also a good bit on the old side, so i had to download the beta to get a newer one.
The store might have some region things working against some people.

This has nothing to do with my question. Why google store servers 3 months old version of app.

Because Google is a lot harder to get through review and most of the changes since then are related to the new server beta.  There should be an update not too far off, though.
