the app also cannot be installed without jellyseer and api, what is this?

I made the url and api up to install originally

The app does expect some sort of seerr connection, but if the address you provide doesn't resolve, it should silently fail and still push you trough without the seerr integration. Does it not do that for you?

There needs to be an option to disable it, trending shows and movies on the home screen show an error with a bogus url and api key.

I can try installing it again, will those seer fields not be shown if no credentials are input?

OK, so deleted my old roaming directory and the new app installed fine.

Sort by settings still do not persist, The setting is actually saved but the order shown reverts, you need to reapply the sort order on entering the specific menu.

Top of spotlight still cutoff

Bistreaming works perfect.

Vertically scrolling still really bad, it jerks down not smooth at all.

Is this happening when scrolling with the mouse or when using the keyboard to move between the rows?
The app should let you login without a valid seerr link and api key. It should take whatever you give it and just show an error in the fields that are trying to connect to it. I'll add a toggle for seerr integration in the login screen for the next update.
I'll change the way the focus is being handled on the hero banner so it doesn't get cut off. I've had the same bug on Android and fixed it there, I was mistaken when I assume that it should carry over, but didn't take into account that the Windows app still has the buttons on the banner thus preventing focus to be grabbed properly.

Yes, it shouldn't (that's how it's coded), just provide bogus ones, it will throw some errors but it should allow you to use it without them. Like I've mentioned in the other comment I will add a toggle for it to enable/disable the seerr integration.

Got it, that makes sense then. I was thinking it's with a mouse, which made no sense to me. I was trying to replicate it with a mouse and couldn't figure out why is it working for me.
I'm adding them both to the list of fixes. I probably won't be able to update the app for about a week or so, as I'll be away, but I'll push an update as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your help. Your feedback has been valuable.

For the other message about the shortcut to exit. You mean the app? Alt-F4 is the only one currently in place. Backspace should back you out of the player too.

There also is a major issue with GPU-Next this needs to be fixed for dolbyvision to sdr plackback.

When selected it exposes a packagemedia.kit window and locks up the app when closed.

App needs to support GPU-Next.

Ok that error is because the server address must be in the format 'http://192.168.1.11:8096/'

I found the config file and fixed my USER issue :D I had to change the emby server url to "http://ip:port"

You can also just delete the cloud zerk directory in user roaming directory and reload the app.
