When will Samsung and LG get auto quality support

@ebr I might as well ask here as it's about the same thing. When is it planned that this option will work with Samsung and LG TVs?

I cannot say but you should monitor in those forums.

The native TV stores are the slowest when it comes to updates.  They can take months.

Just so theres no misunderstanding.
So it is in the apps, just Samsung being slow?

For the Samsung app have you checked the version on GitHub?

The beta version of the Samsung app will always be the latest and is on GitHub first before it even gets submitted to Samsung for approval.  If it is in the version on GitHub, then it's either waiting the devs to submit it to Samsung or the devs have already submitted it and Samsung is testing the app before it gets updated in the store.  If it's not in the version on GitHub then it's still waiting the devs to implement.

Not exactly. The usb downloads are just snapshots of where we are on the day they are packaged. We don't currently have an update in Samsung review, although I imagine we will be submitting pretty soon. The last update just finally got through Samsung review about a month ago, but that doesn't mean we immediately turn around and submit another one. That happens once we wrap up what we're working on and we feel like it can make it through the review process successfully.

Additionally, LG has a policy where after a few consecutive submission rejections, they threaten to remove your app from the store for wasting their time. because of that, we take even longer double, triple, quadruple checking everything.
