sa2000 702 Posted Saturday at 05:32 PM Posted Saturday at 05:32 PM (edited) @Oscar Daniel Tafur Vidarte Hi I am having difficulty understanding the issue I understand that the Emby Server is installed on the WD MyCloud Ex2 Ultra NAS which has an IP Address of 192.168.1.52 But you mentioned you installed it on windows ? I am confused here. Are we referring to an issue with the server running on the NAS or on Windows ? or on both ? Suggest we stick for now to just the Emby Server running on the NAS On 02/04/2026 at 00:28, Oscar Daniel Tafur Vidarte said: Y cuando instalo en Windows el programa emby server, desde allí creo una carpeta y si me aparecen imágenes en ella, pero no me permite acceder a entiendo cuál es el error, adjunto fotos sobre ello All the libraries screenshots you attached are for the Server Settings / Library screen. What do the libraries look like when you click on the Home button (showing as "Inicio" on your screenshots) - do all the libraries show up under "My Media" ? Is there an issue? You also included a screenshot of an error message indication that "\\192.168.1.52 could not be found" Where did you enter the `\\192,168.1.52" as a path in the libraries folder settings ? Could I have a screenshot showing where you entered this before you get the error I see you are using folder paths for movies libraries like "/shares/Directores" - why did you not do the same for the "Accion" library? I see you have a folder path as "\\192.168.1.52\Acción" - why? why are you not specifying WD MyCloud share path? If you download an embyserver log -and attach it and answer my questions above, that will help me understand the issue better For the server log, see How to report a problem Edited Saturday at 05:37 PM by sa2000
Luke 42283 Posted Monday at 10:52 PM Posted Monday at 10:52 PM @Oscar Daniel Tafur Vidarte has this helped?
I now understand the problem Windows Emby Server generating library composite images ok but the My Cloud EX2 Ultra Emby Server is not Could be some permission issue. But lets get some diagnostics So on the MyCloud EX2 Ultra server, select server settings and then select Logs in left sidebar and click on Logs Settings and enable debug logging restart the My Cloud Ex2 Emby Server (dashboard / restart) When the server is ready, create a new library with some media When the creation completes, take a screenshot of the home screen showing the library in my media Then download the emby server log file embyserver.txt through emby web: settings / logs and select the log file to download Attach the log file here together with the screenshot See How to report a problem Edited 1 hour ago by sa2000
