gswhite 0 Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Since Apple updated their tvOS to 26.4 and you can now enable continuous audio in settings to fix low audio when using sound bars, I get no audio from Emby app. i do however get perfect audio through infuse app which plays my Emby server content without problem. anyone else seen this. I’m guessing Emby app will need an update? Thanks Gary
TLS2000 0 Posted April 1 Posted April 1 I have the same issue. I haven't tried to disable continuous audio yet. Since i was trying to watch a baseball game, I switched over to Plex. I'll try and troubleshoot tomorrow.
gswhite 0 Posted April 1 Author Posted April 1 If you disband continuous audio the audio in Emby returns. But then you get the reduced audio experience like before I don’t have Plex to test but I would imagine it may affect both? Infuse works perfectly and so do all my other applications on the appletv. It’s just Emby
gswhite 0 Posted April 12 Author Posted April 12 Temporary fix is use infuse. Connect to your Emby or Plex library and it works for now.
MotWakorb 0 Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I just was suggested to do this as well and can confirm it is a fix: Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format > Set "Continuous Audio Connection" to "Off". That fixed it for me.

metalcated 40 Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Yeah, I can also confirm the same on my end. I was wondering why this kept happening. Yes the Set "Continuous Audio Connection" to "Off" works but once the new version is out, assuming we can revert that back?

Updated. am now able to play audio but I am detecting occasional audio drop outs which do not occur when using infuse. I’ve played three different TV episodes and all occasionally drop audio anyone else seeing this issue? Edited May 3 by gswhite
alex77777 37 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 (edited) @gswhite Try turning off Continuous Audio Connection in the Apple TVs system system settings if its enabled, it can cause issues with the audio. alex77777 37 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 @gswhiteAlso in the future with issues pertaining to the Apple TV I suggest you post it in the Apple TV forum page. This audio issue had a solution posted the day it appeared in the Apple TV forum. https://emby.media/community/forum/162-apple-tv/ 1
