S0ldy 0 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I've run into the exact same problem. VTT subtitles in MKV files aren't being detected on Windows Emby Server. Apparently, this issue hasn't been resolved yet. I really hope our talented developers will be able to fix this. Thanks for your hard work, Developers.
Luke 42329 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 @S0ldy Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!

Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks! Same as the other topic, ffprobe does not like VTT in MKV. Unsupported codec with id 0 for input stream 2 https://emby.media/community/topic/130082-emby-cant-see-subtitles-inside-the-mkv-file/#findComment-1367381 VTT has to be extracted from MKV in order for the sub to be seen (currently). Luke 42329 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 OK we will have a new ffmpeg build on the server beta channel soon so we’ll see if that resolves this, thanks. 1
