Bonjour,

Hi there, how exactly are the files named and organized? Can you please show us an example? Thanks.

Hi, an example of directory. The VIDEO_TS contains VOB files. I Want to replace all my 'DVD' directories with mkv files, so I tried creating the mkv files in the same directory. But in Emby, the mkv file does not appear.

OK this is not good because you've put the mkv inside the dvd folder. That's not supported. I don't think multi-version will work with dvd folders right now. I think you'll have to delete the dvd version after adding the mkv. We'll do some testing on this. Thanks.

I already did this a few weeks ago and it worked. The movie appeared in two versions to choose from in Emby. I recreated the MKV file (there was a problem during the initial creation) and now the file no longer appears in Emby.

@R0boccan you separate the dvd folder and mkv according to our movie naming guide?

Hi @Luke

I did this :

My video_TS are under the directory  20.000 lieus sous les mers (1954)/20.000 lieus sous les mers (1954)/VIDEO_TS/xxxx.vob

For this film, my DVD format is not working with Emby and I do not know why (some of my movie don't work with Emby, reason why I want to replace them with mkv) buuut it works, I can see both DVD and mkv versions :

I will be able to compare my mkv and dvd files before deleting the DVD structures on my server (except for some files... VLC will help).

Thx for your help 👌
