I cannot sign into Emby

I was watching a show on Emby and it stalled. I logged out and when I tried to log in the app would not accept my login details. Can anyone help me in this regard please.

Are you using a server you installed yourself or someone else's?

In the second case you need to contact the admin of the server concerned.

How should I know?  You presumably contacted them to get your login initially.

I should also point out that if they sold you a service they are violating the terms and conditions for the use of Emby's software, which is intended for private use.

Hi Paul, I’ll contact the initial guy who I got it from .. he moved on and now someone else is running it.. I’m a total non techie person so I’m very appreciative of the help I’m given. Thank you so much.

It sounds like you are paying for an illegal server, which is NOT an Emby problem and is against the TOS. More than likely the admin took your money and deleted your account.

No one involved with Emby can or will help you. Take this as an expensive learning experience.

Fine.  But Emby doesn't provide media, only software.  If you have a problem with a service, whether it is a friend's or whatever, Emby (and members of this forum) cannot help you; only the person who runs the server can help.

This is the place to come for help, if you run a server yourself or have a problem with a client itself - but logins are solely the business of whoever runs the server.  Think of this forum as an extension of the user guide for the software.
