HeroLeam 11 Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I don't know why it's not finding the movie Zootopia 2. I click on "scan library files" and the movie still isn't found. I've already removed it from the folder and put it back in, and it still doesn't appear in the panel. Does anyone know why it's not showing up to watch? The other libraries are fine; I add them and they appear. It's just this movie that isn't showing up.

This folder, "mntRIB\hde4TB_4\Filme\Animações," is the path configured in the "Animações" library. This main library folder contains folders for animated films, and within each animation folder is the .mkv video file. All the files appear in Emby in the "Animações" library, but this specific file won't upload at all. I've already forced it to load, removed it from the folder and put it back, and it still doesn't work. I don't know why...

Luke 42312 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 OK please run a library scan and then attach the emby server log. Thanks.

Because of this, it doesn't appear at the top, even though it's filtered by release date, and if you search, only the first movie appears... Oh, and usually when the file is found, it saves the thumbnails, folder, etc. of the movie in the folder, but only the video file is inside. Example below: movie 1 has the images, and movie 2 has nothing, which suggests that the metadata, etc., weren't uploaded. ribtherobot@RIB:~$ ls "/mnt/hde4TB_4/Filme/Animações/[2025] Zootopia 2" '[2025] Zootopia 2.mkv' ribtherobot@RIB:~$ ls "/mnt/hde4TB_4/Filme/Animações/[2016] Zootopia" '[2016] Zootopia.mkv' clearlogo.png fanart.jpg poster.jpg Edited March 19 by HeroLeam
HeroLeam 11 Posted March 19 Author Posted March 19 I found the problem: he's included in the first movie as if it were a "second version." How do we prevent that from ever happening?

I would recommend Zootopia 2 (2025) at minimum - others like putting the tmdb id in the folder name for easier identification as well. 1
