jordn613 1 Posted Tuesday at 10:18 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:18 PM I’m running Kodi for Next Gen on my Ugoos amb6+. I had to reinstall Emby server and the Kodi Companion on a fresh install of Windows. I was able to get my new library detected but I still see thumbnails for movies that were on my old library (either “In Progress” or “Unwatched” etc). How do I get the library or server to properly detect what files are currently present and which have been deleted or were never even in the current library? I have tried the “repair library” and “refresh” options but still shows the same thing. When I look at the Emby library in my browser it is accurate. Thank you!
Luke 42140 Posted yesterday at 03:45 AM Posted yesterday at 03:45 AM HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !

I'm afraid of what other setup I'd have to remember to get myself back to where I am now - which is that at least I can play the files that are in my library. I took some photos to try and illustrate what is going on. https://postimg.cc/gallery/T6TXtKN "Plex on C" is currently the only folder I have as a library in Emby. It consist of the movies in image 4273 - these are the "source of truth" as in, they are the only actual movies/files that still exist and are in my "Plex on C" folder/library. In image 4277, you can see a couple other movies visible - these are still showing up (but are of course unplayable) even though this folder and those files no longer even exist on my PC and I do not have it designated as a library in Emby. In all of the settings I have found, I have repaired or refreshed the library on my Ugoos device. And yet, you can see in some of the screenshots things like "EMBY: Movies (movies)" and "EMBY Dynamic: TV shows (tvshows)" even though those folders/libraries/files no longer exist. So this seems like some sort of caching issue possibly? I just don't know where or how to flush the cache and truly "refresh" the actual files and movies that exist in the one folder/library (Plex on C) that currently exists.
quickmic 1708 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The only option for a clean state after you reinstalled the emby server is a factory reset (in the next gen plugin settings). In 11.X and 12.X versions, it should not wipe any settings in Kodi beside the plugin settings (optional) but it will clean ALL Kodi media libraries. If you have no Emby (Kodi native) content synced, it will wipe them too! If you afraid losing settings, take a full Kodi backup (the backup option from plugin is not enough in this case). Beside your library issues, don't count that Kodi never has fatal issues.
