verdynius 9 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 As title reads. The installation of the package fails. Previous version was removed from the TV, tried it with different usb sticks, all attempts failed to install the new version. TV is SamsungUE65RU7102KXH.

Can you please try Ensure all Emby versions are fully uninstalled Remove power from the TV for a few minutes Reformat the USB drive Redownload the latest USB version and unpack to the USB Try installing Please let me know what happens in this case, or if you get any messages Sometimes some artefacts get left behind in the USB which can prevent installation

verdynius 9 Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 Tried installing again this morning to replicate the error, but the install was succesful and the client works. This is the first time something like this has happened and I've been using emby for quite a few years now. Strange thing, that at first my wife tried installing it with no luck (uninstall old version -> install new from the same usb she always does), and turned the TV off. I've arrived home later, tried again, installer failed to install package. Sorry to bother you folks with this—hope you all have a nice day! 1 2
