Hi,

I have installed Emby on my Windows Home Server 2011 server (its Windows Server 2008 R2 under the hood)

I have CopyTrans HEIC installed and can view HEIC files in Windows Photo Viewer

But when I try to view them in Emby I get a broken image icon and the following in the logs:

2026-03-10 07:34:45.170 Error ImageProcessor: Error encoding image

Is it because its such an old version of Windows?

OK it is possible this is resolved on the beta channel as it has updated libraries related to this.

Strange. HEIC seems to be working just fine in my testing here.
