PeteGul 41 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Hi Which/where/what do You follow to know what is coming of new stuff? Is there an app that can show this, or is it mainly web pages? Thanks in advance
PeteGul 41 Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 This works for what I have. Maybe bad formulated question, but I try to find out what is coming of new movies and series. Releas dates etc.
Neminem 1592 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 I mostly use this TV Insider - TV News, Show Reviews, Sneak Peeks, What To Watch and this What to Watch: In Theaters and On Streaming | Rotten Tomatoes or this Movies & TV Series - Release Calendar or TV Premiere Dates (2026) - Metacritic The list goes on Use google and search for upcoming tv shows and movies Or trending tv shows and movies Its 1 search away 1

But it was kinda a question to see what others use. BTW, is there any of this sites, that maybe is connected to an app. That could be set up with notifications when movies/series are announced in selected categories. I'm talking about new stuff, not what I have on my server. Sorry if I'm not good at explaining what I trying to find 1
darkassassin07 668 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kevinforeman.nzb360 NZB360. Integrates with Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, Qbit/sabnzbd, Prowlarr, and more. Gives several 'upcoming', 'recently released', 'popular', and similar recommendation categories from a variety of sources, to browse and add to your library. Plus it integrates the calendar from all three apps nicely, displaying all of your 'to be downloaded' media in one place. One of my favorite tools outside the actual 'arr stack itself. PeteGul 41 Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 That one looke promising, but very much set my self into. Thanks As my arr's are not on the inet, I will use this just local. Most safe I think
Apotropaic 48 Posted Thursday at 01:41 PM Posted Thursday at 01:41 PM There’s an app and service called JustWatch, its primary aim is you add what streaming services you have or are interested in. So when you search for a particular film or show it’s shows which service it is available on, or where you can find it to rent/buy/watch. You can also favourite your own shows/movies you like and it will give you recommendations. Trakt is another one although this you can sync with your libraries as well, although I’ve not used it in a few years now so have no idea how well it works now. 3
PeteGul 41 Posted Thursday at 06:53 PM Author Posted Thursday at 06:53 PM JustWatch is like you mentioned, more to point to streaming services. Not exatly what I'm after, but is a nice site/service to. Trakt, as far as I know, is to keep librarys up to date betwean different media players. It's what I used it for, many years ago. Now Emby keep track of it by it self.
lorac 119 Posted Saturday at 05:44 AM Posted Saturday at 05:44 AM The BBC essential list gives you a list of roughly 10 movies & shows that are coming up in the next month. 1

I think every media app is trying to provide this functionality in some form, just got to find what works for you and is something you can work into your viewing. I logged back into Trakt for the first time in ages and it does have some nice recommendations based on your viewing and what is popular out there, but it also has this anticipated section that you might like. Anyway, I hope you've got some good ideas!!
