justinrh 264 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 See the pic. The montage images are from my movies, from stuff outside of the TV Series library (X-ed). Some of the images are from media I don't even have (circled). And I do have sitcoms yet the sitcom montage is null. Some of the the genres don't have anything assigned to them (nothing for that category), but you can click the play button and something plays. None of this makes sense.

justinrh 264 Posted March 7 Author Posted March 7 I already explained that. See for yourself. Maybe you should answer why the would not be? I'm in a library - why would I expect to ever see media from another library? Do you expect the same if you view Folders or any other filter?
crusher11 1134 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 1 minute ago, justinrh said: I'm in a library - why would I expect to ever see media from another library? Because genres only have one, global, image. It would be silly to say that if you're watching a crime show, it shouldn't list a crime movie as being in the same genre for the purposes of showing you similar media.
Luke 42192 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Ideally they should only have images from the library, so there’s room for improvement there.
ZanderKeen 73 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago @justinrh You can change the cover images on those like you can with movies as well so they can work for now until the devs improve upon that. Not sure if you are aware. I threw this together using gimp. Its just a couple of boxes angled to look like folder blades on top with the genre titles on them and a couple of drop shadows. There are some really good templates on this forum as well.
Happy2Play 9802 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Basically, this FR as genres are only one image per genre ie Movies/TV use same image not an image per content type.
