Vidarr 10 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Hello, I have a problem with auto detection of video quality. For an unknown reason it is gonna transcode in 1080p a movie that is in 4k on a 4k screen. I precise that i have fiber optic and it can easily watch it in 4k. Is there any option that would say i prioritize direct play and eventually transcoding if the connection don't allow ? (i thought it was the normal behavior but it sound like not)
Neminem 1574 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Dev's would need server logs and ffmpeg logs to see what is what.

I know in my experience with crApple TV's they are overly strict and limit the connection to 3mbit, regardless of what your connection is capable of.
