kaledi 41 Posted Thursday at 11:04 PM Posted Thursday at 11:04 PM Has something changed with emby as I've just tried a few hybrid hdr10+/dv mkv files and they play fine. Previously, you'd get the pink screen. Anyone know what has changed?
Luke 42128 Posted yesterday at 01:34 AM Posted yesterday at 01:34 AM Hi, yes we added some fixes for the fire TV. Enjoy.
kaledi 41 Posted 20 hours ago Author Posted 20 hours ago Wow, great work. Thought it was a limitation of the device.
kaledi 41 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Is there any chance now that you've solved the playback of these hybrid files, you can provide a way to select which hdr format to play?
Luke 42128 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I would try it but we haven’t specifically looked at that. 1
kaledi 41 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Think I've discovered a bug. When connected to a multi channel receiver and a file with multi channel audio is selected, on initial play it plays in stereo. If you select an alternative audio track it play correctly and that is the case if you move back to the original audio track. Also it cna be 'corrected' by selecting a lower quality that forces a conversion

Thanks!
