Zenith Media 2 Posted yesterday at 10:21 PM Posted yesterday at 10:21 PM Hello. I have not had an issue with emby in years for as internally. Today, out of nowhere it stopped working. I restarted my pc three times, reinstalled emby three times and it is still not working. I, nor anyone else messed with any settings or the network at all. Any help would be appreciated.
Apotropaic 43 Posted yesterday at 11:11 PM Posted yesterday at 11:11 PM Sorry I don’t know how to help you specifically but there’s a number of posts today about strange coincidences. Maybe it’s something in windows possibly, my server locked up randomly today and I had a red bar error in my apps for the first time ever. Luckily I was able to restart the emby server instance.
js28194 39 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Goto you server launch the browser and login to see if you.
Zenith Media 2 Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago I restarted my browser, pc and nothing has worked.

Hi, in this screenshot you are given four suggestions of how to resolve your issue. Which one would you like to go with?
darkassassin07 658 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Considering how common these have been lately: Are you running your own Emby server? Emby is a software provider, it does not provide content. If you have been watching content from someone else's server and are now unable to connect to that persons server; we cannot help you.
Zenith Media 2 Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago Luke-This is what is showing when I try to login to emby. darkassassin07-I've had emby for at least 5 years. It's my server.
Neminem 1561 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Then I guess you need to supply logs. For devs to look at.
Zenith Media 2 Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago I can not supply the logs within the server because I can not login the server as stated above.
Neminem 1561 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Well the logs are stored on you server / pc also. What os are you running the server on? You can access the server / pc right? Edited 7 hours ago by Neminem
js28194 39 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Ok, lets try another vector. Is your Server Windows or Linux?
js28194 39 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Then do a search for a file call EmbyServer.txt this file is typically located in: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\logs Where USERNAME is whatever user name you used when you installed windows or setup the computer. Do you have that folder? Edited 6 hours ago by js28194

It's my server. It's not when logging into "Emby", it's when logging into our hosted web app. And it only shows for certain reasons, like for example, you haven't setup https on your Emby Server. You have four choices of how you can resolve this. Which would you like to do?
Zenith Media 2 Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago Resolve this in the easiest and most efficient way possible, please. 1

That is the next step to help. Your asking to have this issue "resolved in the easiest and most efficient way" yet did not post the file those that can help were expecting. Please post the EmberServer.txt log file in the most easiest, efficient, quickest manner possible for next steps to be able to be taken to assist.
Zenith Media 2 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago If I knew exactly what to post, I would have. I am here to learn and to understand. What is exactly needed from the Windows Emby-Server program log?

ebr 16279 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hi. Did you read this...? 5 hours ago, Neminem said: Then I guess you need to supply logs. For devs to look at.
Zenith Media 2 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago I informed you that I found the location of the folder.
js28194 39 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Yes, and I have stated WHERE the file is located in logs directory. The folks who are trying to help are looking for the EmbyServer.txt file (3rd time I have said this).
