Emby suddenly stopped working.

Hello.  I have not had an issue with emby in years for as internally. Today, out of nowhere it stopped working. I restarted my pc three times, reinstalled emby three times and it is still not working. I, nor anyone else messed with any settings or the network at all. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry I don’t know how to help you specifically but there’s a number of posts today about strange coincidences.

Maybe it’s something in windows possibly, my server locked up randomly today and I had a red bar error in my apps for the first time ever. Luckily I was able to restart the emby server instance.

Considering how common these have been lately:

 

Are you running your own Emby server?

 

Emby is a software provider, it does not provide content. If you have been watching content from someone else's server and are now unable to connect to that persons server; we cannot help you.

I can not supply the logs within the server because I can not login the server as stated above.

Well the logs are stored on you server / pc also.

What os are you running the server on?

You can access the server / pc right?

Yes, the pc works. Just not emby.

Ok, lets try another vector.  Is your Server Windows or Linux?

Then do a search for a file call EmbyServer.txt  this file is typically located in:  C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\logs

Where USERNAME is whatever user name you used when you installed windows or setup the computer.

Do you have that folder?

It's not when logging into "Emby", it's when logging into our hosted web app. And it only shows for certain reasons, like for example, you haven't setup https on your Emby Server.

You have four choices of how you can resolve this. Which would you like to do?

So are you going to post it to allow the knowledge base to look at your logs and assist?  That is the next step to help.  Your asking to have this issue "resolved in the easiest and most efficient way" yet did not post the file those that can help were expecting.

Please post the EmberServer.txt log file in the most easiest, efficient, quickest manner possible for next steps to be able to be taken to assist.

If I knew exactly what to post, I would have. I am here to learn and to understand.  What is exactly needed from the Windows Emby-Server program log?

The EmbyServer.txt file that you indicated you found in your previous post.

Yes, and I have stated WHERE the file is located in logs directory.  The folks who are trying to help are looking for the EmbyServer.txt file (3rd time I have said this).
