Because it's a website issue.  ET Legacy uses files hosted on "tv.emby.media" which is where the bug resides.  The Emby Team needs to update files on the site to fix this issue.  I run a custom local proxy which allows me to revert back to old versions and even run offline.

Looks like the scrolling issue is fixed.

@LukeApologies, didn't had the time to reply sooner. I'm using Emby Beta but the issue for side arrows is with Theater. However, when scottpro post the solution, it didn't worked for me, at same time last night it did work.

I noticed a new issue -> side arrows do work but all watched Movies or TV Series still appear, normally after I watch say a Movie and go back to Home, the "latest Movie" segment that specific Movie the poster is no longer there, after your update only under Theater still showed up, weird.. Again the scrolling arrows issue last nigh was working.

There is an option under "Preferences->Display" that hides played media from those sections.

 

Also, the beta releases are for Emby server and not ET (legacy).  This issue/bug was a ET (legacy) problem which is driven by online content updates, hence the version 4.9.3.28.
