It look like something is blocking your connection toΒ

Connection to https://mb3admin.com/admin/service/registration/validate timed out

That is usually Security software, VPN, DNS, or country blocking.

Look into that.

Is there a complete list of resources for Emby to work with somewhere so I can proxy them all?

This all depends on your plugin choices πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Each plugin uses different sources.

But start looking at your logs and proxy those adresses that fail, but only if you need than πŸ˜‰

proxied those two URL and still nothing (except new "readme.txt" file inside Logs folder. funny enought)

digged to the logs - no errors. mb3admin got "200 OK"

embydata.com the same

it's only one TV with that issue. The server itself has a "Gold coin".

what esle should I check?

Sorry to hear that, but can't help you with that.

As I have never encountered your issue, and only know from what I have learned,

from other issue like this on the forum.Β

Hi.Β  That would indicate that the TV is being blocked from reaching our server.

Hi.

I doubt it very much because that TV is in the same network as other TV and server itself.

where can I found client log to check it?

After making the changes to your proxy,Β

Did you restart the TV?

very good question. first time I restarted the AppΒ only - that have to be enough to get new net config. This time I power-cycled TV to get three minutes complete power-off (cord is unplugged) but nothing changed.

Hello?

I'm still facing this issue.Β It may not be very obvious, but the app isn't working for me and I definitely don't want to pay for a second subscription.

Hi.Β  Purchasing again isn't going to help you.Β  Something has to be blocking the TV's access to our servers.Β  Do you have the ability to sniff the network when the TV is giving this error?

Hi @ebr

Since you are not responding to my questions about the client logs and the required URL access list, I assume that the Emby client has neither logging nor a debug mode, and that your team does not have a complete list of required URLs and call-home endpoints.

Also, if the customer is using Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet, there may be additional variables involved, as you are probably aware.

Does this mean that the only way to dig deeper is for the customer has to perform a traffic capture?

Unfortunately, logging on the TV OS apps can be quite limited.

It is not easy to have a meaningful discussion when only indirect questions are allowed and even those receive only partial answers.

Would providing a pcap file help you investigate this further?
