Jiddery playback

Im using emby theater on cachyos and have been having issues with jiddery and playback. Audio is fine but video looks like its skipping frames. The computer it plays on has a 5060ti and has the issue on both 580 and 590 series drivers. Works fine in chromium browsers. I tried out the beta app but get black artifacts on the screen during playback. I would be eternally grateful for any help.

Edit: it actually does have the same issue in browser, it just isnt as bad
