radioactivesqrl 2 Posted yesterday at 12:32 PM Posted yesterday at 12:32 PM (edited) This may be a little in-the-weeds, but it appears that Emby has a problem against the actor Robert Duvall. I search my library for movies with Robert Duvall; nothing. I go to a movie that I know he's in; not listed. In seems insistent on using the name and picture of a Robert Sattler with all the other metadata of Robert Duvall. I've refreshed the meatadata (both fully and missing) and no changes. I manually changed the actor for that role, but Emby won't save the change (but claims to have saved it). I've checked the movie metadata sources and they are correct. Manually comparing his filmography against my library should produce at least 16 different results. One or two off seems like a metadata mistake, but 100% seems like a bug. GrimReaper 4739 Posted yesterday at 12:38 PM Posted yesterday at 12:38 PM (edited) That's odd. Do you have multiple movies starring Robert Duvall or only that single one? Edited yesterday at 12:40 PM by GrimReaper
radioactivesqrl 2 Posted yesterday at 12:42 PM Author Posted yesterday at 12:42 PM I mentioned in the post, I have quite a few movies with him. I've shown the metadata downloader configuration as well. If you ignore the name and picture, this IS Robert Duvall. Somehow the name and picture have been mixed up with another actor, but the bio and filmography are correct.

That is already the ID being used. The external links at the bottom of the profile work correctly. The Identify action updated the picture correctly, but name still wrong. Change it manually then, if all other data is correct (bio, filmography, ExternalIDs)? As a sidenote, is the Title field in the Edit Metadata dialog maybe locked (green padlock icon on the right), preventing it to be updated on Identify? Edited yesterday at 12:57 PM by GrimReaper

Not thrilled by it being managed manually, but at least it works. I had updated the name before you suggested it, so I didn't check the padlock at the time. The padlock is currently locked on the correct name now though.
