dmnmn 0 Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Hello, I have an issue with my Emby server. It happens, mainly in the evening, that when a media finishes, Emby retranscodes it, crashes, and this loops for several hours. I think this occurs when a user does not exit or falls asleep while watching a video. This generates hundreds of 0MB log files, all ending with "[q] command received. Exiting." It's impossible to stop the loop without restarting the server application or after a while. I am attaching the server logs, as well as one of the logs of this transcoding. Thank you, and have a nice day. embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-6cdb9930-0540-4ee6-8695-b6da801587a9_1.txt
Luke 42414 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Hi, we'll take a look at this. Thanks for reporting.
dmnmn 0 Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 Hello, Any news about this problem ? Every night i run into this issue, and every night the server in perma-transcoding files, which make my electricity bill much higher this last two months. Maybe just a workaround to kill this processes would be enough. Thanks and have a great day.
