Same "added on" date for multiple versions of a movie

Hi Emby-Team,
I just wanted to ask if the following behavior is a bug or if it's intentional.
If I have a movie in my library in multiple versions, for example, 4K and 1080p, the same "added on" date is displayed for both.
Does this date refer to the movie itself or to the version?
If it refers to the file, then it's a bug

the latest version - maybe earlier 3.9.3.0

is causing my system to mess up on 2 things

1) file added date - it changed the advance setting to date of file from date added in the settings - mine has been date added forever possibly

i was adding movies but they were not appearing in the new list

i changed it back to date added in advanced settings but:

when i added a new release to a folder it chose the date i added it - today correctly

when i added an older movie with a file date from a month ago - it chose the month ago date

two different folders - both folders in the same library
