M3L1H 1 Posted Monday at 10:41 AM Posted Monday at 10:41 AM Hello, I have an issue with Turkish subrip. I have been using Emby for around two years, and this issue has existed since the beginning. If a video has subrips, most of them are displayed correctly. However, when I select Turkish, it only shows the last selected working subtitle (most of the time English). I made a test using the TV’s internet browser - the Emby web client, and Turkish subrip is displayed correctly there, so the subtitles themselves are not the problem. However, the Emby app on the TV does not show the Turkish subrip and continues using the last working subtitle instead. If I manually download a Turkish SRT file, it works without any issue at the app. I don’t understand how the web browser can display the Turkish subrip correctly while the TV app cannot. This happens with all videos. I also tested it on my android phone using the Emby app, and it works fine there.
