Nimasa 11 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 (edited) Emby Server: 4.9.3.0 on Windows 10 (Premier) Emby Client: BRAVIA 8, Emby for Android 3.5.28 The issue: Emby, while playing music, doesn't prevent the TV from sleeping after a period of time set in the TV. It wasn't happening before in earlier versions. I didn't test while watching Live TV, or Movie. But when I'm working at home, and I play music on my TV as a background noise, the TV sleeps after some time, and I have to turn on the TV again, open the Emby app, and play again. Emby server log is attached. embyserver.txt Edited February 14 by Nimasa
crophoenix 0 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Same here.... music playng on Emby isn't recognised as an 'awake event' on my Google TV Streamer who then starts a screensaver after predefined amount of time and turns off audio completely. After few minutes of running a screensaver, Streamer shuts down and turns off the TV... as if Emby app wasn't active at all. The same, of course, does not happen while video content is playing. It's only audio playback on Emby that isn't detected as an ongoing activity on the device.
