Robgh 4 Posted April 25 Author Posted April 25 Sorry, screenshot of what. Do you mean like this, ie full screen
Luke 42409 Posted April 28 Posted April 28 As you can see from the screenshot, your video doesn't have any subtitles. Are you aware of this? You can add external subtitle files by following: Subtitles Naming Or download subtitles manually inside Emby : Manual Subtitle Downloads Or setup automatic subtitle downloading: Automatic Subtitle Downloads Does this help?
Robgh 4 Posted April 28 Author Posted April 28 Thanks, but back to basics, how do I setup the library to download subtitles. I have setup a temporary path like this:
Luke 42409 Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Hi, To download subtitles manually inside Emby : Manual Subtitle Downloads Or setup automatic subtitle downloading: Automatic Subtitle Downloads Does this help?
Robgh 4 Posted April 29 Author Posted April 29 Thanks again, but when I click on the 3 dots , then search, it returns: No results found. Have you configured subtitle downloading? I click the said link, but that just takes me back to the Manual Subtitle Downloads page. What else do I need to do

If you're not getting any results it will help you. It goes over things to try and check.
Robgh 4 Posted May 2 Author Posted May 2 Yes I read this: Before being able to setup downloading of subtitles you will need to setup a plugin such as Open Subtitles. Please make sure you have configured your plugin before continuing. I have Open Subtitles installed and have it configured, I think?? To configure, does that mean to have what the screenshot shows

Robgh 4 Posted Wednesday at 07:15 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 07:15 PM It says this when i9t can't find any subtitles: if you do not see any subtitle appear for download (as above) then that would mean that Emby could not find any subtitles that match your criteria. You can try and change any options you set or possibly try to search for "English" subtitles (if not already). Some movies will not have subtitles available. But according this screenshot , does it mean there is or are subtitles or have I got that wrong:

Did you check the external ids like the guide suggests? What did you find there?
Robgh 4 Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago I did click search and it says: No results found. Have you configured subtitle downloading? So how do I do that as I don't know where to look to do that What is the external ids you are talking about. Thanks

Robgh 4 Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago Ok, found the last server log after I clicked search, which is attached embyserver.txt
GrimReaper 4966 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Your OpenSubtitles credentials are not configured correctly. Make sure you're registered with opensubtitles.com and not .org and that you use your username and not email in plugin config.
