Hello,

I've been consolidating/combining 100s of shorter home videos into longer videos (using LUXEA Pro Video Editor 1080p H264, 30fps .mp4) and playback on my Sony TV (xr-77a80l) via Emby Android TV app (2.1.23g) is rotating most videos 90 degrees.

I've also tried the EMBY android app (not TV version) and getting the same result...i even tried to convert into TV format...and it worked once then went back to rotating...

I don't know how to send you logs from my TV...so have only attached pictures for now. NAS is Terramaster F2-425 plus.

Any guidance and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Thanks.

Hello Luke and I hope you are well.

I've installed and tested both Emby for Android TV and Emby for Android...no luck...got the impression it worked for 1 min then back to rotation.

Is there another version I should try?

Both versions are currently installed on the TV....and should add that playback on PC and android phone is fine.

thanks

Hello Luke,

I figured it out...when i was doing some batch video converting i used .mov versus .mp4.

.mov is rotated 90degrees but .mp4 is not....so issue resolved.

Apologize for the
