Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen) - Playback slow mo judder HEVC

Hi

I have Emby on a Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen) running Emby for Android 3.5.28 but it can't play various HEVC files without getting into a strange slow mo judder.  Emby Server is showing it as Direct Play for Video and Direct Play for Audio, with no embedded subtitles

Any ideas how I can fix this please?
