jriker1 21 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 (edited) I was recording shows from the Winter olympics and deleted it because I thought it recorded one episode at like a minute and stopped. Today it apparently has been recording away. But guess what. Says 1 show. And clicking in, crap I need to delete it again. One 59 second show Time to delete. But wait, I noticed at least thru the web version when looking around the Version had a pulldown. Wont' get into why i have a 59 second segment. Oh crap, wait they are all in this submenu on an episode that says 1 show Oh again, and if I watch that 59 second segment it marks the thumbnail as watched. Won't get into if Split Versions Apart does something and what it does as shows keep recording, but if I don't want each of these to be their own show in the Cortina folder can I do that? Please don't ask to try the non Android TV version. It's horrible on the NVidia Shield. How it navigates and watching shows always starts back at the beginning. You can't jump forward in a show and again every time you exit it starts over. Edited February 7 by jriker1

The guide data is reporting this all as the same "episode" and that is probably why they are being combined but you can fix it with that button.
jriker1 21 Posted Saturday at 10:24 PM Author Posted Saturday at 10:24 PM (edited) Yeah, I went to delete the show I just watched and deleted 15 shows because of this. Keep in mind this "button" doesn't exist in the android app. Guess it doesn't really matter anymore but will post that in another topic. Edited Saturday at 10:25 PM by jriker1
Luke 42083 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago The non Android TV version will you what folder paths will be deleted. This helps serve as a safeguard because you then cancel the delete if it doesn’t look right.
daldana 122 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I've had the same problem with almost every Olympic event. I resorted to editing each events nfo file manually by going to tvdb, finding the "season", "episode", and tvdb number. Once I did that, the events showed correctly. I wish I knew why the nfo was generated with the wrong info.
