How can I preserve metadata after two drives fail in a RAID 5 array?

I’m running a RAID 5 array on TrueNAS. One drive failed and was replaced, but during resilvering a second drive started failing. All my data is backed up, but rebuilding metadata takes days.

My metadata is stored in /var/lib/emby/metadata. If I restore the data from an SMB share, will the metadata remain intact? I’ve lost it during recovery before and would like to avoid that this time. What’s the best way to protect it?

Tks

Hi, the best thing to do would be a complete recovery of the server data folder, meaning the folder above the metadata folder. Please let us know if this helps.
