Change DLNA "Alive" message interval

Hi,

I have Emby v4.9.3.0 installed on my Synology DS223j (ARM v8) running DSM 7.3.2-86009 Update 1. I really like the software, both functionality and usability are impressing.

However, when watching a movie on my old-ish Samsung UE40D6500 D-Series TV (must be from around 2010), the playback stops after exactly four minutes, and the TV claims to have lost the connection to Emby ("server not found").

I investigated a bit and believe to have nailed it down to the TV being too restrictive by expecting a DLNA "alive" or heartbeat message within four minutes, while Emby seems to send those each five minutes. I also read that in former version of Emby there, might have been a DLNA settings called "AliveMessageIntervalSeconds" and/or "BlastAliveMessagesIntervalSeconds". But I could by no means find these settings anywhere. I understand DLNA used to be a part of the Emby core software and has been migrated into a module. I further learned that settings have been moved from xml files into sqlite db files. Which probably is the reason why I couldn't find the settings when scanning the file system.

Do I have any chance to change the interval for sending DLNA "alive" messages in the current version? If so, where (in which file) can I find the setting? Or if I cannot edit it in some file, can I perhaps use the API to do that?

I attached a debug log and the custom, more restrictive profile I created for the TV to account for the device's restrictions. I can rule out the latter to be the root cause, since the default Samsung Smart TV profile results in the exact same behavior. The custom profile was my first step in trying to tackle that.

Any support would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Never mind. I switched to Jellyfish, whose DLNA plugin provides a suitable setting. Works like charm with my D-Series Samsung TV.

Just in case someone stumbles across this googling.
